All God’s children are called to “fight!” “fight the good fight of faith” but our artillery is not of a mortal-man, i.e., killing, cheating, deceiving, false allegation, ego, evil intention, jealousy and so on, Although Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7, “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” (ESV)
To fight any fight first it takes ‘boldness and courage’ one who fears dares nothing! Remember we don’t have “Spirit of fear” but of “Power,” “Love,” and “Self-control,” We must face all the challenges in our lives with the Power of God which are accessible through our prayer and faith! Following is the three simple step to Fight against every odds in your life:
1) God has not given you “Spirit of fear” but of Power! – Claim it.
2) Who can stand against “Hate & Jealousy” but you can! Because God has given you “Spirit of Love” – Forgive them.
3) God has given you power to control yourself, that is, “Self-Control” Don’t get wipe away by emotion. – Control Yourself.
Eventually we have an example in Old Testament when God’s children were troubled and dismayed to fight against Opponents, following words are spoken by the Hezekiah King of Judah in 2 Chronicles 32:7-8,
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed before the king of Assyria and all the horde that is with him, for there are more with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people took confidence from the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.” (ESV)
My decision! I’m not going to be “a quitter” but “a Fighter” for life is a battle, we will never win unless we fight in first place, Now I will fight more stronger than ever, for God’s power is with me!
