1. Where is the person, who died? 

Many years ago, a great noble man lived; whose name was, Job! He asked this thoughtful question, that is,

But a man dies and is laid low; man breathes his last, and where is he?” (Job 14:10, ESV)

2. What happens when we die?

Life return to the giver, body returns to the dust, and Soul travel to the Lord for its eternal destiny!

Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”  (2 Corinthians 5:8, ESV)

and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.”  (Ecclesiastes 12:7, ESV)

3. Do we return to this life again?

According to Bible once we die, no more we return to this life in the same way it departed.

As the cloud fades and vanishes, so he who goes down to Sheol does not come up”  (Job 7:9, ESV)

he returns no more to his house, nor does his place know him anymore.”  (Job 7:10, ESV)

4. Does soul sleeps till the Judgement-day?

Plain reading of scripture shows, the deceased’s soul instantly travels to the Lord’s presence for Judgment, moreover, “soul sleeping theory,” is contradict to the teaching of Apostle Paul.

2 Corinthians 5:8 – “…Away from the body and at home with the Lord

1 Thessalonians 4:14 – “…God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.”

8. Why we should take the warning of the Scripture? 

No rest in Hell:

And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night,…”  (Rev. 14:11, ESV)

…for I am in anguish in this flame”  (Luke 16:24, ESV)

Seek the real rest:

… let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it.”  (Heb. 4:1, ESV)

Let us therefore strive to enter that rest,…”  (Heb. 4:11, ESV)
